 This is my final Ancillary for my Newspaper advertisement. This is after all the edits from my audience feedback.

Feedback for my Newspaper Advertisement

I showed my four edits to 5 skiers and got them to pick the one they liked the most. It came back with a 5 nil win from edit number 4. This is because i have been doing focus groups with my class that one has been the most edited one. So here is the 4 edits from 1-4.

My favourite is number 4 and i think i am going to go with that one for my Final design.

Feedback - Hard to read the title and the information is too bright.
 2.
Feedback - The information is good tint however the font for the title is quite dull.
 3.
Feedback - The title case is better but it looks squashed, make it easier to see but not over the skier.

Ancillary magazine article research

In these pictures I have commented about the choice of pictures, type, placement of everything and size. I have chosen all different types of magazines. I choose 2 articles that relate to what I'm doing about skiing, I choose the other two because one is a existing film review and the other one was about a Person which linked in to the documentary brief I have.

Class feedback for my production.

I finished my first draft and decided to show my Teacher and a student in the class to get some feedback from them so i can make my production better. I filmed the focus group we did and here it is.
From this focus group we did i am going to amend my production to what they have said and hopefully create a better product.

Anchilaries Task: Newspaper advertisement.

i have taken photos for my newspaper advert as the quality will be loads better. Also with this i can edit them on photoshop and make a better product. Here is the steps i have taken to edit my advert also adapted with the feedback i got.
I have cropped the image to take out any distracting parts and to keep your eye focused on the subject.

 Here i have reduced the exposure so it is really dark. this is to set me up for my last effect. It will give it the contrast in the background that is needed.
I have added in a lighting effects so it has a direct light. This is to make the subject stand out more and o give it that egde. I had to do it this way as i have no lighting of my own. Now you can see why i have darkend the background for the light.

Student lead lesson

So today i lead a lesson on any Grassroots media topic of my Choice. I decided to choose YouTube, this is because its coming up to it's 8th year anniversary. I started off the lesson with a introduction about what Youtube was and what it does. I then gave them a hand out and got them to answer questions on Youtube.

I'll answer my own questions to show my own knowledge on this.
1. What other video sharing site can you think of?

3. Why do you think people are subscribed to there channels?
In my opinion i think that these people are the top as they have been around since the start, with the exception of Epic Meal Time. This would of brought a huge fan base in and they were the only people that the audience could watch. The majority of these channels are comedy channels so it makes people laugh, it will keep them coming back as its making them happy. College Humor and Machinima are more companies then people, however this is how they got there fame so i would still class them as made from the grassroots media.

4. How do people make a living of this?
People make a living of this by using advertisement. They get a Youtube partnership, which is where the Youtuber links up with the advertisements and they have adverts before and after there video. They also can earn more money by linking up with certain companies and putting product placement in there videos.

5. What are your views on Youtube being banned in schools?
I think youtube shouldn't be banned in schools. This is because it can help students find tutorials and revision for there lessons. Also teachers will find it helpful to use it to make lessons more fun. They also could include it in the lesson by getting the kids to make videos which would make it fun and something different.
